Dosage Suggestions:

Suggested dosage for EM-BALANCE -- 1-2 capsules 3 times daily on an empty stomach (if possible) or as directed by your physician. It is ok to take up to 6-8 capsules per day. Try different amounts and see what works best for you. Children should start with 2-3 capsules per day and increase if needed.

¨ Fluids -- Drink a reasonable amount of water during the course of the day in order for the capsules to work effectively.

¨ Delicate stomach -- Some individuals may have to take their EM-BALANCE capsules with a small amount of food in order to avoid an upset stomach. However, EM-BALANCE is effective when taken with food. You can also disslove the capsule in hot tea and drink.

¨ Minimum dosage -- Should take at least 2-3 capsules per day seperated by about 4-6 hour intervals for constant results.

Contraindications:

Prescription medications -- You should get approval from your physician before using this product with prescribed medications.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) -- Individuals taking MAOs like Phenelzine (Nardil), trancypromine (Parnate) and moclobemide (Aurorex) should not take this product unless directed by a physician.

High blood pressure -- Anyone receiving treatment for high blood pressure should review the ingredient list with their physician.

PKU - phenylketonuria -- (inability to metabolize phenylalanine) EM-Balance contains Phenylalanine and should not be used by individual with PKU. Consult your physician for further information.

Yohimbe Extract -- Individuals should stop taking extracts of Yohimbe 48 hours previous to using EM-BALANCE in order to prevent side effects which may include sweating, nausea, and vomiting.

Allergies -- Submit the ingredient list to your allergist or physician.

Other Considerations -- Overuse of certain types of amino acid supplements can cause anxiety, headaches and hypertension, and are contraindicated for pregnant woman, those who suffer from anxiety attacks, high blood pressure, PKU, pigmented melanoma, or anyone taking an anti-depressant containing MAO inhibitors. If you have any of these conditions listed discuss the ingredient list with your physician before using.
