Why do we Work? Ask that question of most people and they'll say it's to earn money. Yet, when they're asked what they would do if they won the lottery or if they had more money than they wanted or needed, many people say they would continue working - not necessarily full time or at the same job, but at some form of work. So, why else do people work? To feel we are part of a group and be accepted. Being noticed, liked and accepted gives us a sense of belonging. To feel good about ourselves. Levels of self-confidence and self-esteem are raised when we can do certain things well or when others say we've done a good job. To feel fulfilled. life is interacting with the people at work. It is very important that you
